Preservation Barn Capital Campaign

In order for future generations to appreciate and understand their agricultural heritage today’s generation must maintain and protect our past.

To this end, the Hendricks County Antique Tractor & Machinery Association with the support and cooperation of the Hendricks County 4-H Fairboard and the Hendricks County Commissioners wish to build a 36' X 63' post frame building at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex in Danville, Indiana. This opportunity will provide storage and protection of agriculture artifacts the organization has obtained in recent years.

HCATMA was chartered in January 1995 to preserve and protect antique agriculture tractors, machinery, and many other farm related items. Our Associations ongoing effort is to preserve and display the machines and artifacts of the past so many generations to come will know the evolution of farming in Hendricks County.

How Can I Help?

A Fund Raising Campaign is underway with our membership and the Hendricks County Community to raise $25,000.00 to build the Preservation Barn by the spring of 2011. This facility will give us the ability to display and store the organization's collection of agricultural treasures as well as a place to perform maintenance and restoration activities.

Your contribution will make this facility a reality not only for you to enjoy, but to preserve articles and equipment for our children and grandchildren.

Levels of giving are available to recognize your contributions.

Harvest - $1000.00 & Up
Planting - $600.00 & Up
Plowing - $100.00 & Up
Seed - Up to $100.00

All contributions of $100.00 or more will be recognized on signage in the Preservation Barn.

The opportunity is also available for naming rights! With a significant donation the building can be named in the honor of your family, friend or business.

All donations are tax deductible.
