Welcome to the Hendricks County Antique Tractor & Machinery Association’s Web Site. This website was developed to share information with you the interested individual in our aquiculture heritage of Midwestern America and specifically Hendricks County, Indiana. Be sure to check out all the features of this site. Our association of more than 250 members, which is a family oriented Association that has developed a history of several annual events; i.e. shows, parades & other venues to share with you our interested public the collections of farm tractors, machinery, memorabilia and oral histories by real people. On the subject of oral histories most of our members have a back ground on the farm and they have many stories to tell. The collections that they have restored (Or in the process of restoring) all have significant histories to share. Many of the pieces in the collections have been handed down in families to preserve the chain of history. We encourage that our members be present at our shows and other events as much as possible so you can ask them questions or hopefully pry out a little story on the history of that piece of machinery or a real life story handed down in the family that illustrates a contribution our farm heritage. We are what we are because someone in the past has put forth a determined effort to succeed, which has been a blend of sacrifices and successes. Thank goodness’ that, in most cases the successes were more plentiful. Our mission is to maintain a forum to continue to share farm life as our ancestors lived it. Our Association meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Hendricks County 4H Community center to plan our events and to fellowship together to continue to bring to you life’s history on the farm.
